Cannot add an Access database to an Office binder due to design.

Cause:

An Access database cannot be added to an Office binder. Only Word documents, Excel worksheets and charts, and PowerPoint presentations can be added. This is by design of Microsoft Access.

Solution:

There is no workaround.
